My Dream...........

Okay... there are realistic dreams and there are unrealistic dreams.  Duplicating this kitchen EXACTLY is unrealistic.  Getting this "feel" on my budget, realistic.

Building our current home on 5 acres is unrealistic.  Building our home on the bigger flatter lot that we were HOPING would come available- REALISTIC!  YAY!  They called, we can have the lot we wanted!  By locating our home there it secured us a little bit more space, a lot more usable space and a different roof- concrete tile with a lifetime warranty!

We're thrilled.  While it will put us back a few weeks, we'll still make it in by the end of June.

In the meantime, I want the above kitchen.  I "get" that Carrera marble is not in my future, which, even if it were, I couldn't stomach it right now with 3 kids and myself being the messiest cook known to man.  Would make about the same sense as Donald Trumps comb over.  So, I love the color here, grays, whites, browns, stainless, ect.  I'll figure it out, somehow.  :)

Oh, kill me now.

Okay, to make a really long story not nearly as long as a typical Deanna story can be...... Our builder has several series of homes in our "neighborhood".  Of course those range in size and price.  We originally were going to build in a certain area in a certain series.  We ended up cancelling that and moving "down" one series.  We cancelled that one too and then looked at pre existing homes, woke up, especially when our favorite sales person through the builder called and said "You HAVE to see this new model!".  They took us back because, well, who wouldn't in this market?

Today, when we went down to add a media cabinet to our contract our sales person extrodinaire, Melanie informed us that our current model will be moved up to the "higher" series, thus being able to build our model on completely different lots.  Most of these lots we're not enough for us to move, but ONE was just enough to throw a loop in our plans.  It's bigger, flatter, more usable.  The catch, the lot is LESS money than our current lot. However, when the house gets "moved" to the bigger series, it will cost more.  Not a ton more, but more.  But we like the lot more.

Who knows.  We may be moving before we even break ground.  Gotta throw the ol wrench in every once in a while. Keeps things interesting and "saucy"!  :)

Holy Bad Grammar Batman!

Okay, this is when I could actually exist in person to many of you so you could understand how quickly I talk. There is usually very little in between breathing, very little pausing and LOTS of run on sentences.

Tonight I broke the news to my hubby that I started a blog.  He insisted on reading it  that I read it to him.  Um, when you can't read your own writing because it's just ALOT of run on sentences and poor poor grammar.

I am apologizing, in advance for this all.  However, I do not intend to change in great ways. I talk fast, I write fast. I'll do my best to dot my i's and cross my t's, but....  I can't promise to nottalklikethisandsupersuperfast.

G'Night!
